In 1998 Ben Stant, paranormal relief worker, decided to take a step forward in establishing a Contact Point for Spirit- and Ghost Appearances.

Apparently few people managed to turn to someone who would take them seriously. Lots of people found the door locked when they wished to report appearances that presented themself.

In many cases it concerned beloved deceased people who had a specific message, which was not always understood correctly.

These kinds of events very often have a large impact on the people who experience them. Especially as our culture does not teach that the energy of the deceased can linger on earth for a long period of time. Even a certain desperate act can trigger a deceased to show himself of make their presence known by means of sound, smell, moving objects or even touch.

Often people fear these forms of energy, as they are “inexplicable issues” Generally speaking there is a kind of pattern in their presence, being old memories or a connection to that place.

Moreover left behind energies can have a disturbing effect. Specifically known as poltergeist, holy terror or even ghosts that make one ill. The reason why can be explained in many ways.

Due to media attention the Contact Point became known, also internationally. Many people reacted hoping that the topic ghost would receive more attention. Presently the Contact Point receives over 1100 responses annually, of which about a 150 reactions request assistance.

Obituary notice

On december 2nd 2010 Ben Stant has deceased at the age of 71. Subsequently the contact point for spirit- and ghostappearances has been inactivated. During his life he has helped many people to distinguish the energies that were bothering them, and assisted them to expel these appearances. For those who can read Dutch, this website publishes a number of stories that were recorded by Ben Stant during his life.
